Blogging Chauffeur
I hope to blog more over the next year and tell all my stories keeping names anonymous of course! I think all of us chauffeurs have some interesting and very funny stories that can be shared with the rest of us. A lot of chauffeurs are using internet phones like the ipod so can write their stories while waiting for customers etc…
Flaming Client!
As a public servant, I consider it common sense to keep your personal beliefs at home when you are out on a job. Unfortunately, many clients don’t share in this perspective. Last month, I was hired to drive a client’s daughter home from an airport. When I met her at the gate, the daughter introduced herself as “Flame,” and throughout the ride, described in great detail a violent revolution that the Wind Goddess would bring upon the earth. She considered herself a freethinking Wiccan, and she seemed to worship more goddesses than there are snowflakes.
Now, I find it best in situations like these to nod politely and keep my mouth shut. However, I found myself overwhelmingly disturbed by Flame’s insistence that the earth was nothing more than a swirling mass of energy that would soon explode and engulf the sun. Worse yet, my client expected me to drive her daughter around the city on a regular basis whenever she was visiting home. The situation got so extreme that I finally ended up terminating the business relationship once I began to fear for my personal safety; Flame had taken up the practice of lighting ritual soy candles in the backseat, and it was not long before one tipped over and burnt a hole in the cushion.
Best Chauffeurs Car
I used to drive a Mercedes S Class and it was magic! It was smooth to drive with everything on board for the customers screens showing dvd and tv. I looked after it like a little baby making sure it was allways clean and shiny and it smelt just fine inside and was spotless god help if I saw a mark or blemish! I carried around with me more than I should a compressor and a can of flat tyre spray and all the repair kits like body filler T Cut and polish and leather cleaner and cockpit shine the car made me a compulsive cleaner! I just could not bear to see any scratches or scuffs so I was allways prepared. Well this was the best car for me and after just reading an article I notice it was voted best luxury car again for 2009! It just brought back some memories pity I don’t clean my house as much as I did the car!
Limo Driver How Do You Relax!
Hi guys I was just thinking what do you do after a hard day driving I mean how do you relax. Other people reading this will probably laugh and say what an easy job we have but I must say I have had a number of jobs in the past and though I am normal cool and a relaxed sort of person some of the pressures of the job did get to me.
Things like traffic jams that can hold you up not finding the clients address as you have been given the wrong info making sure you get up in plenty of time which means you can’t relax plus having awkward clients although most of us can put up with them you do get a few who are really bad who treat you like sh@#. Anyway you may laugh but I was on the interweb and I thought I fancy baking a cake!!!!!!
So I found a simple recipe using 4oz caster surgar 4oz butter which is mixed then add 2 eggs and mix then sift in 4oz self raising flour and mix in so I just did it but I did not have two baking tins to make a sponge so I just used one. Also I forgot I added 2 banana’s and they where mixed in but you can add what you want but if you where doing the sponge with 2 tins you would probably use jam and clotted cream!!!
You then put the tin or tins into the oven for 20 -25 minutes at mark5 or 375 degrees or 190 c.
And I found it very relaxing and it tastes great!
